Excalibur provides leasing, management, sales, and maintenance services for several hundred residential rental homes in Metro Atlanta. Some of our team members are employees and other are licensed agents that work as independent contractors. The positions within our team are described below. We are currently seeking to fill only the following positions.
List and sell residential homes. Each agent may work with buyers or sellers or both. Many of our property management clients ask us to sell their property once they decide that they do not want to be landlords any longer. We also work with investors that want to buy or sell rental houses.
Benefits Package Described
Excalibur offers a Medical only Health insurance policy through Humana, with Excalibur paying about 85% of the employee’s premium. The premiums adjust annually on January 1. Dependent coverage, including children or spouse, is also available, and paid by the employee. Employees are eligible for coverage on the 1st day of the month after a 60 day waiting period after their date of hire.
Other benefits are available through an assortment of products offered by Aflac, deducted directly from the employee’s pay each pay period. These products include a wide variety of insurance policies, and a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). An employee is eligible for these products on the 1st day of the month after a 60 day waiting period after their date of hire.
Excalibur also offers participation in a 401K plan to all eligible employees, who have served for one year. After one year of service, on the next enrollment date of January 1 or July 1, an employee may join the 401K plan. Salary reductions of up to 3% are matched dollar for dollar. A deduction of 4% would be matched at 3.5%, and a deduction of 5% would be matched by Excalibur at 4%.
Our leasing representatives work on a commission basis, similar to the typical real estate sales agent. We have many homes on the market for rent at any given time. Telephone inquiries and leads are directed directed to the Leasing Representative who will then schedule showings with prospective tenants.
